Silvia Haynes tells us her story:  

My mom was diagnosed in December 2012 with a type of cancer called small cell lung cancer (SCLC) that normally affects the lungs. However, in her case, it was a tumor growing in her salivary gland about the size of a kumquat fruit. This was actually only the fourth case of this type of tumor in the USA.
Every day my mom consumed 8 drops each of frankincense and orange essential oils in vegetable capsules. Plus for one week she applied lavender locally where the tumor was.

After this, my mom started having nausea. So then we just applied the frankincense and lavender essential oils topically, and for 3 months she was drinking water with orange essential oil added to it.

My mom had a total of 27 biopsies because, after 3 months, the doctors saw that the tumor had actually been shrinking and dividing in two! Now my mom is cancer free, and the doctors recognize it as a miracle from God. Our protocol was praying and anointing... with essential oils.

Absentmindedness, a nice way of saying denmentia?

Your not that old but you keep forgetting.   It can't be Dementia, or Alzheimer? NO I am too young for that.   But wait, what can I do to take care of my brain?  Did you know that memory loss can be attributed to Thyroid problems and Vitamin deficiencies? According to Dr. H.K. Lin.  

Plaque that forms in the brain can be dissolved with several essential oils, those include, Clove, Oregano, and Thyme.  Now we at Young Living, layer these oils on during what we call a Raindrop.  They will penetrate all layers of the skin and get into the blood stream and also cross the Blood Brain Barrier.   That is really good news folks.

 Some products we have that help us, are Longevity Oil, which contains Frankincense, Clove, orange, and Thyme oil.   That is a good supplement, it comes in an oil and a soft gel cap to take orally.   

Some other oil blends we have that contain many of the oils I just mentioned are Clarity, and Brain Power.  Both oils are really helpful in getting these compounds into the brain, including oxygen.   As essential oils carry oxygen.

For the vitamins issue, we have some great solutions for that as well.   We have something called Ningxia Red, I have written about that already, its a great source of whole food and lots of vitamins.   We have Ningxia Nitro, it has a good supply of B Vitamins.   Nitro is combination of many great anti-oxidant sources.   Our newest product is called Mindwise.  I just started taking this myself.   It too is a proprietary memory blend.  It supports brain and heart health.  Those pesky puss pockets, what to do.  

Small pockets of pus that collect under the skin, can be caused by bacterial or fungal infections. It can happen on the skin, or a digit, or even a tooth.  The medical community call them Abscesses, we call them painful, and annoying. 


Many essential oils may help reduce inflammation and ward off or even combat infection.  One must bring it to a head and draw out the pus to let the healing begin.

Some examples that can be used,  Oregano, clove, myrrh, galbanum, melaleuca, frankincense, lavender, rosemary, thyme, patchouli. These are single oils.  Some blends that work well are Melrose, Purification, Thieves, the last 3 are blends of oils.

My 13 year old daughter came to me one day with a swollen red big toe and in the corner of said toe (down near cuticle area) I noticed a little green pocket of puss. We were unsure of what this was and have no idea what caused it.

We decided to soak her foot in epsom salts and add one drop of Thieves essential oil from Young Living to the toe after drying it off and covered it with band-aids. We did that for two days twice a day. On the third day, we just added the Thieves into the water and left the toe uncovered. We treated this way for two days as well.

By the end of the fourth day she did not need anymore treatments the toe had completely dried up with no swelling. When looking at it on the fifth day noticed that the dead skin was gone, where the blister was and there was fresh skin growing underneath.

Working with teenagers at times can be difficult with this kind of thing. The first time we used the Thieves on the toe my daughter said she could actually feel the oil seeping into the infection. Her description was that it was tingling. I believe the oil was actually attacking the infection and preventing it from getting into her blood stream.

We are so thankful for the Young Living oils and the purity they provide. I never have to worry when I'm treating my children with these oils. I KNOW there will not be any negative side effects or harm done to them if I follow the guidelines being careful not to neatly apply the more potent oils. Thank you Young Living!
