One of the questions we ask people when they are using essential oils is, where are your companies farms? There are a few companies out there that do grow their own plants and distill their own oils but they are few and far between. If a company that is selling essential oils, ask them about their farms. If they don't have farms then they are simply essential oil brokers. They are buying oils from other people and who know really what is in those oils, there could be anything.
With Young Living we do have our own farms and I am going to include them in this post. Young Living has their own farms and they do their own distilling, that is one reason why they are the World Leader when it comes to essential oils.
Pay attention to the farm in Ecuador, they government there is so immpressed with what is being done in their country, they have donated additional land vital to the farming process. This land includes 49.4210 acres on the river and 1235.526 acres in the Andes. That is in addition to the already 2, 010 acres. There are four distilleries that operate 24 hours a day. That is very impressive.
Our newest farm is in Oman, where the Sacred Frankincense comes from, Young Living is the only company that has the permission to acquire Frankincense that comes from Oman. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, if they do they are not telling the truth. Here again in Oman we have a distillery and produce our own Frankincense. It is not bought through a broker which most who sell Frankincense is. You need to know that Frankincense is one of the most adulterated oils out there besides Lavender.
